JAMB Admission Requirements

Candidates looking to gain admission into Federal University Dutsin-Ma (FUDMA), Katsina, through the JAMB UTME process must meet the following requirements;

All applicants must register for the 2024 JAMB and pass with a minimum score of 140.
All applicants who pass the required cut-off can then proceed to sit for the school CBT post-UTME.
All successful applicants will then proceed to physical screening.
All applicants must have the right subject combinations in their UTME and post-UTME.

Direct-Entry Admission Requirements

All applicants looking out for FUDMA direct entry admission for the 2024/2025 session should look to meet the following requirements;

Candidates must have five (5) ‘O’ level credits, including English Language and Mathematics in the relevant subjects.
National Diploma (ND) holders must have at least a Lower Credit
All applicants applying with IJMB must have a minimum of six points, with at least one(1) point in all the courses taken, before being considered for admission.

Is it IJMB or JUPEB? It’s Called in FUDMA

In FUDMA, it is called IJMB. IJMB is an A-level course that prepares students to gain admission directly into the 200 level if they meet the required standards.

IJMB to Degree Admission Requirements

For candidates looking to apply at FUDMA with IJMB. The following requirements are to be met.

All applicants must fill out the application form and pay the required fee.
All applicants should possess at least five (5) Credit in English, Mathematics and three (3) Subjects combination in any of the following IJMB Courses: (Life/Medical Science, Physical Science/Engineering Technology, Social Sciences, Environmental Science, Arts, Educations, Agricultural Science, Renewables Resources).
All applicants must have the right subject combination for their intended choice of study.
All applicants must have a minimum of six points, with at least one(1) point in all the courses taken, before being considered for admission.

JUPEB to Degree Admission Requirements

Inter-University Transfer Degree Admission Requirements

Candidates seeking to pursue a FUDMA full-time postgraduate degree program should look to meet the following requirements before they can be considered for admission;

Candidate must possess a credit level pass in Five (5) subjects, including English language, mathematics, and any other relevant subjects at the SSCE/GCE’ O’ level/NECO or its equivalent.
Candidate must be a graduate of FUDMA or any other recognized university.
All applicants must meet the university matriculation requirements.

Postgraduate Diploma or Certificate

Applicants looking out for the Postgraduate Diploma at FUDMA must meet the following requirements;

All applicants must possess a credit level pass in Five (5) subjects, including English language, mathematics, and any other relevant subjects at the SSCE/GCE’ O’ level/NECO or its equivalent.
All applicants must possess at least a 3rd class degree in a related field.
All applicants with a minimum of upper credit level pass at HND or its equivalent in relevant areas (for programmes in relevant Faculties qualifications such as AIB, ACCA, ACMA, ICAN, BEEC, CPA, etc. may also be considered for admission.

Five credits at not more than two sittings in WASC, GCE, NECO, or NABTEB, including English Language and mathematics.
All applicants must possess an undergraduate degree from any recognized institute with at least a Second-class lower division.
Applicants with a lower than Second-class lower division must possess a postgraduate diploma from a recognized institution of higher learning.
