FUAZ Undergraduate Admission Requirements 2024/2025

FUAZ Full-Time Undergraduate Admission Requirements

At least five credit passes in WAEC, NECO, GCE, or its equivalent in not more than two sittings.
Candidate must have sat for the UTME and get the required cut-off mark
The candidate must be 16 years of age or more than that

JAMB Admission Requirements

Candidate must score 140 and above in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination.
Also, the candidate must possess at least five credit passes in WAEC, NECO, or GCE in not more than two sittings.
Candidate must have a credit in English Language or Mathematics in his or her O’Level result.
The candidate must sit for the institution’s post-utme and meet the required pass mark.
Candidate must write the correct subject combination in the UTME Examination.

Is it Remedial or Pre-Degree in FUAZ?

While remedial and pre-degree are interchangeable, the Federal University of Agriculture, Zuru, has a remedial program on its school portal. However, they are both the same thing and can be used interchangeably.

Remedial/Pre-Degree to Degree Admission Requirements

Candidate must have a minimum of three (3) O’level credits, including any of the following: English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.

Direct Entry Admission Requirements

The candidate must have any of the following: OND, HND, NCE, A-Level, or a recognized diploma certificate from a reputable institution.
In addition, the candidate must possess five credit passes in O’Level subjects with inclusion in Mathematics and English Language at not more than two sittings.
The candidate is expected to fulfil the departmental requirements of his chosen course of study.

Is it Called IJMB or JUPEB in FUAZ

IJMB means Interim Joint Matriculation Board Examination for students who find it difficult to gain admission into the university for reasons like JAMB, fault in O’Level results, etc.

JUPEB stands for Joint Universities Preliminary Examination Board, and the Federal Government of Nigeria also approves it. Students can take the program and hope to gain admission into any university in Nigeria of their choice.

IJMB to Degree Admission Requirements

Candidates are expected to have made at least 6 points in their final exams.
The candidate is to purchase the JAMB direct entry form and choose the Federal University of Agriculture, Zuru, as his or her first choice.
In addition, the candidate must have remedied any deficiencies in his or her O’Level results using the IJMB Basic Math and Basic English.

JUPEB to Degree Admission Requirements

FUAZ Part-Time Degree Admission Requirements

The part-time admission requirements are the same as the full-time requirements in some senses. The candidate is expected to have a minimum of five(5) credit passes, including Mathematics and English, and three passes in the relevant subjects in his or her 0’Level result at not more than two sittings.

In addition, the candidate is to purchase the part-time form of the Federal University of Agriculture, Zuru, and meet all the necessary conditions. You can check the school’s portal to determine the requirements for your chosen field.

FUAZ Sandwich Degree Admission Requirements

Candidate must hold a GCE ‘A’ Level with credit passes in relevant subjects or NCE with upper credits in relevant subjects. Also, candidates who have ND or HND with upper and lower credits in relevant subjects can apply.

Another requirement is that in addition to any of the above, the candidate must have five relevant credit passes in his or her O’Level result at not more than two sittings. The five subject credit passes must include the following: mathematics, English language, chemistry, biology, and physics.

HND to Degree Top-Up Admission Requirements

Candidate must have a minimum of five(5) O’Level subject passes at credit level in not more than two sittings.
The candidate’s O’level result must be relevant to his or her proposed program of study.
The candidate must have a credit pass in English Language and Mathematics.
Also, the candidate must possess an HND certificate from a recognized institution with a minimum of third class or pass division.
A certificate of NYSC completion or exemption.

FUAZ Postgraduate Admission Requirements 2024/2025

You will find the postgraduate requirements in this section if you are interested in a postgraduate degree from the Federal University of Agriculture, Zuru.

FUAZ Full-Time Postgraduate Admission Requirements

The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree with at least a Second Class Lower Division in the relevant field from FUAZ or any other recognized university.
Also, the candidate must have five(5) O’Level credit passes, including Mathematics and English Language, at least two sittings.
Possession of a valid NYSC discharge certificate or its exemption certificate
In addition, the candidate is to pass the Postgraduate Admission Test of FUAZ.

Postgraduate Diploma or Certificate

Candidate must be a graduate of the Federal University of Agriculture, Fuaz, or any other recognized university.
The candidate is to hold a degree relevant to his or her proposed field of study.
Also, the candidate who holds an HND with a minimum of a pass at credit level or its equivalent in relevant areas from a recognized institution can apply

Master’s Degree Programme

Candidates with a Bachelor’s degree certificate from the Federal University of Agriculture, Zuru, or other recognized universities can apply.
The candidate’s degree must be relevant to his or her proposed field of study with a minimum of second-class honours.
Also, candidates with Third Class Honours or HND in relevant areas with a postgraduate Diploma from FUAZ or other recognized institutions can apply.
Candidate must have a minimum CGPA of 3.5 or an Upper Credit in the Postgraduate Diploma.
Holders of HND, PGD/PGDE certificates are to satisfy the basic school certificate or GCE ordinary level entry requirements, which is credit in five relevant subjects for admission into the Bachelor’s degree of the respective departments.

Doctoral Degree (PhD) Programme

Candidate must have a Master’s degree from the Federal University of Agriculture, Zuru, or any other recognized institution.
Also, the candidate must fulfil all relevant prerequisites

FUAZ Part-Time Postgraduate Degree Admission Requirements

The part-time postgraduate requirements are the same as the general postgraduate requirements in some senses. Candidates are to meet all requirements given above for any of the postgraduate programs.
