Candidates who wish to apply for the Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board (JUPEB) programme at the Federal University of Agriculture, Makurdi can now proceed to purchase the application form for consideration of admission into the 2020/2021 academic session.
About the 2020/2021 FUAM JUPEB Admission Form
The management of the Federal University of Agriculture is using this medium to call for application from suitably qualified candidates for its 2020/2021 Joint Universities Preliminary Examination Board (JUPEB) programme.
The programme leads to the award of a JUPEB certificate to candidates who emerge successfully.
The JUPEB certificate enables candidates to gain admission via Direct Entry into the Federal University of Agriculture, Makurdi, or any other JUPEB -affiliated institution across the country and abroad.
FUAM JUPEB Eligibility Requirements
Prospective candidates are required to possess at least five(5) O’ level credits with English Language inclusive and any other subjects that are relevant to the candidate’s desired field of study in the university.
Programme Duration
The programme will run for a period of two semesters which is one academic session.

How to Apply
Prospective candidates who fulfill the eligibility requirements will have to visit the website of the university to purchase the admission form. The cost of the form is N15,000.00. Payment can be made by generating the remita reference number to enable candidates to pay online or make payment via any bank branch. Written below is the needed step to fill out the application form;
- Go to http://uam.edu.ng/.
- Once there, click on the JUPEB application forms.
- You will be required to fill in your surname, other names, email address and your phone number in the spaces provided.
- To generate the JUPEB application number, click on submit.
- Copy the generated application number and visit the fees.uam.edu.ng. fill in the application number in the space provided and follow the steps to enable you make payment.
- Go back to the portal upon successful payment to validate your payment by entering the payment pin.
- Carefully complete the online application form and submit it.
Application Deadline
Forms submission will end on 30th January 2020.
General Information
The following is to be noted by all applicants:
- Applicants are to regularly visit the school website to check the actual date of the entrance examination and to stay updated on other relevant information.
- During the Programme, all JUPEB candidates are required to register for direct entry UTME 2020.
- It is important that all candidates use valid email addresses and personal phone numbers.
- Within two weeks of accessing the website, the forms must be filled and submitted online or it can also be done immediately. Downloaded or printed copies of the application form will not be accepted.
- The 2020/2021 entrance examination will take place at the Federal University of Agriculture, Makurdi, Pre-Degree Annex.
- It is advisable that candidates carefully follow the application instructions and they should also make sure that they select the correct subject combinations. Failure to do the above may affect the candidate adversely.
