PRE-ND (SCIENCE)

This happens to be a one-year Preliminary course tha was created for candidates who did not meet up with the requirements for the direct admission into the ND courses in the sciences. Pre-ND courses is meant strictly for candidates from catchment areas of the polytechnic and other stated with educational disadvantaged states. Candidates are expected to indicate their departments of choice from the following:

FPTB Pre-National Diploma Entry Requirements.

Candidates are expected to be in possession of at least five credit passes at SSCE/NECO level, or any relevant qualification acquired at maximum of two sittings that is expected to include English Language and Mathematics plus to any other passes relevant to the area of interest. All the candidates are expected to sit and pass for the UTME JAMB examination and be admitted duly by JAMB before going to ND programmes.

Applicants are expected to log on to the federal Polytechnic, Bauchi website at www.fptb.edu.ng click on “NEW ADMISSION APPLICANT, enter the details and then generate payment slip (RRR) to take to the bank. After making the payment, go back to the same website to proceed with the application number and phone number that you started the application with. All the applicants are expected to make a non-refundable payment fee of about 6,500.00 Applicants are to carefully follow the laid down instructions on the website of the university before further going to the Bank that they desire or REMITA to pay online.
