The management of the Federal Polytechnic Idah published the academic calendar for the remainder of the first semester and for the continuation of the second semester for the 2019/2020 academic session. - 7/11/2020 – Arrival of New HND I LIS students to commence the first semester
- 9 – 3/11/2020 – Registration for New HND I LIS students
- 14/11/2020 – Arrival of ND I and HND I Returning students
- 16/11/2020 – Lectures commence for HND I LIS/ND I and HND I Returning students
- 7 – 19/12/2020 – the First semester main/carryover Examination for all ND I and HND I excluding HND I LIS
- 18/12/2020 – Submission of First Continuous Assessment scores for HND I LIS
Second Semester
- 27/12/2020 – Arrival of all students for the Second semester excluding HND I LIS
- 28 – 31/12/2020 – Course Registration for All students excluding HND I LIS
- 4/1/2021 – Second-semester lectures begins for all students excluding HND I LIS
- 16/1/2021 – Submission of second Continuous Assessment scores for HND I LIS
- 19 – 20/1/2021 – School Board meets to consider first semester main/carryover examination for all students excluding HND I LIS
- 21 -22/1/2021 – Academic Board meets to Consider first semester results main/carryover Examination Results for all students excluding HND I LIS
