The Management of Federal Polytechnic Damaturu (FEDPODAM) has released its Diploma in Humanitarian Studies Admission Form for the 2021/2022 Academic Session. All interested applicants can now start purchasing or applying for the institution admission form.

About the FEDPODAM 2021 Diploma in Humanitarian Studies Admission Form

This course provides the background of, and current responses to humanitarian crises. The scope includes the history, categories, theoretical models, prevention, mitigation and response to disasters caused by a complex mix of natural hazards and human action or inaction. With the growing complexities of humanitarian disasters around the world, the need for more and trained or skilled humanitarian workers becomes necessary which this programme has taken the task to provide.

Eligibility:

This is a diploma suitable for persons working in or planning to enter the humanitarian sector, including staff of humanitarian aid organizations, governments, and UN agencies. There are no prerequisites for this course. Although humanitarian aid experience is essential, it is not presumed to be a prerequisite for admission in to the programme. Candidates need to pass at least four O-level subjects including English.

FOUR SEMESTERS (THURSDAY – SATURDAY) APPLICATION FEES: N3,000 ONLY (NONREFUNDABLE)
