About the Federal Unity Colleges JSS1 Admission List for 2020/2021 Academic Session
Almost three days after the receipt of the result of the national Common entrance examination for admission into the Country’s 110 unity colleges, merit-based admission into unity colleges has been released by the federal ministry of education in line with the directives of education minister, Adamu Adamu.
On receiving the result, the 2020/2021 national Common Entrance from the Chief examiner the registrar of the National examinations Council (NECO). Professor Godswill Obioma, the minister stated that within 72 hours of the receipt of the results, the principals are expected to complete both the merit-based (60%) and 30% equality of the state’s admissions.
The results were sent to the principals on Wednesday, 18 November 2020 by the Basie and secondary education department of the ministry, which is saddled with the responsibility.
Within the timeframe that was stipulated, both the merit-based and the equality of state admission are ready.
Candidates are expected to check for their admission list that would letter be posted on the website of the ministry on Monday, 23 November 2020.
The admission letters would be available for collection at the college on 24 November 2020.
How to Check the Federal Unity Colleges Admission List Online
- Go to NECO Result & Admission Status Checking Portal at result.neco.gov.ng.
- Select your exam year.
- Select your exam type which is “NCEE”.
- Enter your NCEE registration number in the required box.
- Lastly, click the check result button to view your result and admission status.
