This post has been written to inform the general public and all concerned about the Federal Polytechnic Ado-Ekiti Resumption Date for Second Semester 2019/2020 Academic Session. The resumption date for the commencement of 2019/2020 academic session second semester has been fixed and consequently announced by the management of the institution.
The Academic Board held an emergency meeting on Wednesday 14th October 2020 to consider and also approve the calendar of academic activities for the continuation of the 2019/2020 academic session. The result of the meeting was the information that was passed out to the Polytechnic Community, and the entire students that the commencement of the second semester has been approved.
On this note, the Second Semester for the 2019/2020 session will begin immediately after the first-semester examination ended. The resumption date that was fixed for the commencement of the second semester, 2019/2020 session after the first-semester examination is Monday 7th December 2020. It was also noted that script marking and submission of results should simultaneously be carried out. All whom this information concerned are hereby asked to take note and comply appropriately.
About the Federal Polytechnic Ado-Ekiti Resumption Date for 2019/2020 Academic Session
According to the directive of the Federal Government on Resumption of tertiary institutions nationwide, Monday 19th October 2020, has been approved by the academic board of the polytechnic as the set date for resumption of the 2019/2020 academic session that had to pause due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Students of the university should prepare as academic activities would commence immediately on the day of resumption.
Screening would be holding at the main gates of the two campuses along with the guideline for resumption that was made clear on the polytechnic website. Students are expected to visit the website constantly for any new update of important information on school activities.
Students are hereby advised to strictly adhere to all the set-out Protocols for COVID-19 immediately on their resumption. They include wearing face mask, social distancing, regular washing and sanitizing of hands, and various equipment. All students are expected to be on campus with Face masks and Hand sanitizers for personal use.
