This is to inform the general public about the Federal Polytechnic Ado-Ekiti HND Full-Time Admission Form for the 2024/2025 Academic Session. Official details about the form are given below.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified applicants for admission to Higher National Diploma Morning Programme as well as Evening and Part-Time (Six Semesters) Programmes for the 2024/2025 Academic Session leading to the award of Higher National Diploma
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
2.1 Applicants should possess
(i) National Diploma (ND) with at least Lower Credit in the Course/Programme of choice and five (5) Credit in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics at the SSCE/NECO/GCE or relevant NABTEB O’Level Examinations in not more than two (2) sittings.
(iii) Applicants with NABTEB Technical Certificate (NTC) and NABTEB General Education Certificate (NGC) can also apply for courses in the School of Agriculture and Agricultural Technology and the School of Science and Computer Studies.
(iv) Applicants are to possess their ND Result and IT Letter for uploading before applying
(v) Applicants are advised to visit the Polytechnic Website, www.fedpolyado.edu.ng, to learn the requisite entry requirements for the National Diploma (ND) of each programme that make them prima-facie qualified for the HND programmes.
2.2 A minimum of one (1) year or 12 Months post-ND cognate work experience (Industrial Training) in addition to 2.1.
However, applicants with a PASS grade at the National Diploma (ND) must have a minimum of two (2) years or 24 Months of post-ND cognate work experience.
METHOD OF APPLICATION
Applicants seeking admission to The Federal Polytechnic, Ado-Ekiti, are required to complete the Institution’s application form available online from Monday, 19 August 2024
ADMISSION FORM GUIDELINES
Application Form
(i) Applicants should visit the Polytechnic Website http://www.students.fedpolyado.edu.ng to generate and print application payment invoices.
(ii) Upon printing of invoice, applicants can proceed to any bank of their choice alongside the invoice generated and make payment of N15,500 only (Administrative charges inclusive) on the remita platform
(Iii) Applicants can also pay with their debit cards (Master Card, Visa Card, and Verve Card) by following the instructions on the invoice generation page.
(iv) After payment, applicants should revisit the School Portal and fill out their application form using the RRR number on the payment invoice (slip). The invoice and the RRR must be in the Candidates’ name.
(v) Applicants should endeavour to upload their ND Result and IT Letter
(vi) Applicants should endeavour to print their acknowledgement slip after filling out the application form
SUBMISSION OF FORMS
Applicants are to please note that the application for admission, which is online, will close on Sunday, 29 September 2024.
Applicants are advised to regularly visit the Polytechnic website, www.fedpolyado.edu.ng, for further detailed instructions. application as from Monday 2nd, September, 2024.
NOTE: (1) All HND Moming, Evening, and Part-Time applicants will be required to sit for an aptitude test. This will be a Computer-Based Test (CBT) meant to test the basics of National Diploma Syllabi. The CBT would include a Test of English, a General Paper, and areas of ND Specialization.
( ii) Applicants should also ensure that the transcripts of their Academic Records are forwarded directly by their former institutions to reach;

(iii) The Polytechnic is not bound to process the application forms of applicants whose:
(a) Transcripts are not received on the due date or who submit them by hand,
(b) Forms are not correctly completed and received after the closing date:
(c) National Diploma (ND) Statement of Result reads February 2024 or later for applicants with a Lower Credit and above grade. (d) National Diploma (ND) Statement of Result reads February 2023 or later for applicants with a grade of Pass.
(e) All applications with false details will be rejected. Applicants are advised to read through their forms carefully before submission.
