Federal College of Education (SPED) Oyo in affiliation with the University of Ibadan is looking forward to applications from all suitably qualified candidates for admission into its NUC approved full-time undergraduate degree programmes for the academic session of 2020/2021. The federal college of Education (Special) Oya, which is the only one in the country mandated to train special education teachers and other personnel, was founded in the years 1977 October.

1. *Education/Christian Religious Studies.
2. Education/Islamic Studies.
3. Educational Management.
4. Guidance and Counselling.
5. Human Kinetics.
6. Primary Education Studies.
7. Education Mathematics.
8. *Education French.
9. *Education English Language.
10. Special Education

The once with asterisked can only be combined as teaching subjects’ areas (Minor Only)

The following candidates are eligible to apply:

• Students that made the college their preferred institution of choice, and sat for the 2020/2021 UTME and scored 200 and above are eligible to apply.
• Students that sat for 2020/202` UTME and scored 200 and above but did not select the college
• Any candidates that did not choose the college are expected to process change of institution and then make the college their first choice on the JAMB Portal.
• Students that applied for the JAMB for Direct Entry. Candidates are expected to submit their bio-data and SSCE WAEC/NECO O’L or (equivalent certificate) and NCE results (for Direct Entry) Online directly via http://www.ui.fcesoyo.edu.ng/ on or before Sunday, February 7^th, 2021.

Registration Formalities:

1. Candidates are expected to make the payment for the admission processing fee of N2,000.00 online via Interswitch payment gateway.
2. The online form can be filled in CAPITAL letters.
3. Candidates are expected to return to the portal until Sunday, February 7^th, 2021 to edit/complete the past entries or otherwise review and print their submissions. Students are expected to make sure they click “Final submission” before printing. Applicants are expected to note that no editing is to be carried out after the final submission.
4. The functional e-mail addresses and GSM numbers is to be provided in other to enable the college to reach candidates in the course of the admission exercise, whenever the need comes up.
5. The online help desk platform on spedportal@yahoo.com would be made available to take on all the genuine enquiries.
6. The submission of the bio-data/ ‘O’ level results is expected to not be extended. Candidates that their data has not been submitted within the time stipulated may not be considered for the screening and admission.
7. Misrepresentation/falsification happens to be a very serious offence. So, all candidates are therefore expected to submit the right documents. Anyone that is guilty of this offence would be disqualified and stand a chance to be handed over to the Law Enforcement agents.

Special Notice

• All the candidates are expected to take note that the payment of the admission processing fee of N2,000.00 is for the processing of each of the candidates for the application. This does not mean that the candidate would definitely get the admission.
• The Post-UTME Screening date for UTME candidates would be sent via e-mail address and/or GSM phone number as stated in 4 above.
• All the direct entry candidates are expected to apply for the courses where they have the relevant NCE grades. They are required to come to the Directorate of degree and diploma programmes of the college with at least two copies of each of the photocopy of credentials, payment teller, online registration form. JAMB (DE) registration and colour passport on or before on Sunday, February 7^th, 2021.
• Candidates are expected to check constantly on the portal of the admission for more information.
