This is to inform the general public about the Federal College of Education in short “FCE” Eha-Amufu 26th Matriculation Ceremony Schedule for Newly Admitted NCE & Degree Students 2019/2020 Academic Session. The date, time, and venue for the 26th matriculation ceremony of the Federal College of Education, Eha-Amufu (FCEEHAAMUFU) has been announced by the management.
The matriculation ceremony is used to formalize the admission and the registration of newly admitted students also known as freshmen into the college systems. They will formally be recognized as students of the institution after the matriculation ceremony. The ceremony is therefore compulsory for all first-year NCE and Degree students.

The date for the 26th matriculation ceremony of the Federal College of Education, Eha-Amufu is Friday 18th December 2020. The venue is the College Pavilion and the time is 10:00 am prompt.
Matriculation Notice to Students
- To collect their matric gowns and caps, matriculants should report to their respective school officers for guidance starting December 14th, 2020 upon presentation of their school fees receipts.
- Matriculants are required to be at the matriculating venue at 8:30 am
- The procession of students begins at 9:00 am prompt. It is compulsory for all matriculating students to process
- The matriculation that will be generated by the Registry after the matriculation ceremony should be signed by the matriculants to show that they have been admitted into the Federal College of Education, Eha-Amufu.
Matriculation Notice to Staff
It is mandatory for all staff of the college to participate in the matriculation ceremony. Only Academic staff and designated Senior Administrative staff of each school are however expected to robe and process. Strict compliance should be ensured by the Deans of Schools and Heads of Department.
It is required that some officers collect gowns for their students (after confirming the exact number of gowns needed) from the registrar’s office. Students must surrender the gowns to their school officers on the same day after the matriculation ceremony. Any student who does not do so on the same day will be fined the sum of N5,000 for each day the gown remains unreturned.
School officers are required to make sure that the issuance of students’ gowns is not given to any staff of the college. School officers are to make sure that students return all matriculating gowns in good condition. Any student that damages his/her gown will end up being surcharged.
To lend variety and glamour to the occasion, Academic staff and designated Senior Administrative staff of each school may robe in the colours of their alma mater. All matriculants are wishes for a joyous ceremony by the Academic Board.
