Entry Requirements
To successfully apply and be given admission for a course, you must have satisfied all the entry requirements as stated by the chosen institutions. For all applicant’s who have found a need to apply for a course at the federal cooperatives college Ibadan, the following are the entry requirements for the programmes offered by the institution;
– HND in Cooperative Economics and Management
- ND in Cooperative Economics and management, accounting, marketing, business studies, insurance, purchasing and supplying, and other related programmes with a minimum of a lower credit pass from an accredited University
- One year Post-ND Cognate IT work experience and 2 years Post ND cognate work experience for students with pass grade.
- 5 O level requirements passes at one or two sittings
– ND in Cooperative Economics and Management
- WASSCE/NECO/ NABTEB/GCE O level with 5 Credits at not more than 2 sittings when including English, mathematics, and any other 3 subjects from Economics, Geology, History or government, commerce, accounting, agricultural science or biology, civic education
– HND in Banking and Finance
- ND in Cooperative Economics and management, accounting, marketing, business studies, insurance, purchasing and supplying, and other related programmes with a minimum of a lower credit pass from an accredited University
- One year Post-ND Cognate IT work experience and 2 years Post ND cognate work experience for students with pass grade.
- 5 O level requirements passes at one or two sittings
– ND in Banking and Finance
- ND in Cooperative Economics and management, accounting, marketing, business studies, insurance, purchasing and supplying, and other related programmes with a minimum of a lower credit pass from an accredited University

– HND in Economics and Rural Economics
- ND Diploma in home economics, texture studies, food technology, food science, food hygiene, hotel and catering management, nutrition, and other related programmes with a minimum of Lower Credit level pass from any accredited institutions
- One year Post-ND Cognate IT work experience and 2 years Post ND cognate work experience for students with pass grade.
- 5 O’Level requirements passes at one or two sittings
– ND in Home and Rural Economics
- WASSCE/NECO/GCE/NABTEB O level with five credits at note more than two sittings which must include English, Mathematics, Home Economics, Nutrition Hygiene, Agricultural Science, or Biology.
– ND in Accounting
- WASSCE/NECO/NABTEB/GCE O level with five credits at not more than two sittings which must include English, mathematics, and any other 3 subjects from Economics, Geography, History, Commerce, Accounting, Agricultural Science or Biology, Civic Education.
– ND in Marketing
- WASSCE/NECO/NABTEB/GCE with five credits at not more than two sitting which must include English, mathematics, and any other 3 subjects from Economics, Geography, History, Commerce, Accounting, Agricultural Science or Biology, and Civics Education
– Diploma in Cooperative Studies.
- WASSCE/NECO/NABTEB/GCE O level with Five credits at not more than two sitting which must include English, mathematics, and any other 3 subjects from Economics, Geography, History, Commerce, Accounting, Agricultural Science or Biology, Civic Education.
– Professional Diploma in Cooperative Studies
- Graduate of other disciplines and seasoned cooperative worker are eligible

All candidates are to complete the institution application form online starting from the 18th of May, 2020. Scratch cards for the purchase of forms for the full-time programme are available in the college on the payments of 7,500 nairas for the HND program and 2,500 where UTME is not applicable. The sum of 10,000 Naira should be paid for a part-time programme.
