The management of Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT) has released a Notice to its Students on First Semester Late Registration Fee for the 2020/2021 Academic Session. The details released by the above-named institution about the late registration fee are given below.

ESUT 2020/2021 Notice on First Semester Late Registration Fee

It should be recalled that via our earlier memorandum Ref. No. ESUT/R/59 dated 5 May 2021, we had informed the entire University Community that academic activities for the First Semester 2020/2021 Session shall commence on Monday, the 10th day of May, 2021 and shall end on Friday the 6th day of August 2021.

To this end aforesaid, registration of all courses started on Monday, the 11th day of May. 2021 and to end on Monday the 14th day of June 2021. And that Penalty for late registration applies thereafter.

By way of further emphasis on the matter, thereof completion of the registration of courses for the current semester shall be one month from the 11th day of May 2021 and payment of penalty fee of late registration of 10,000.00 (Ten thousand Naira) by Monday 14th day June 2021 follows, after which the course registration shall immediately end. And the University Portals shall close against any further Registration Exercise for the 2020 First Semester 2021

Please also note that any student who fails to pay his her school fees and late registration fee of 10,000.00 (Ten thousand Naira) only (for all those who fail to register within the approved registration period, and the two (2) weeks late registration thereafter), shall not participate in any academic activities, including in-course assessments and other examinations since their names shall not be captured by the ICT in the class lists of Academic Departments in the University

Based on the strength of the foregoing, therefore, the full intention of this communication is to enjoin all the members of the University Community, particularly the continuing students to be guided accordingly and to treat this important development expeditiously too.
