Overview

  • This trainee programme is an intensive blended training which is designed to build and also develop technicians who are well trained across all aspect of power engineering.
  • Experience will be garnered by the selected candidates across the various technical departments of the power plant which will lead to acquiring requisite competencies to contribute to the achievement of the company’s overall strategic objectives.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Candidates are required to possess National Technical Certificate (Issued by NABTEB) in either Electrical & Wiring, Machining, Welding & Fabrication or any other Engineering related field.
  • In any of the following Engineering Fields, candidates are required to have Ordinary National Diploma; Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, Production, Metallurgic and Material Engineering or any other related field in Engineering.
  • 0-2 years relevant experience by the candidate in any organization

Skills & Competencies

Interested candidates are required to have:

  • Reading and interpreting ability as well as the ability to carry out complex written and oral instructions
  • Ability to handle tools well
  • Knowledge of general science principles
  • Knowledge of Basic mechanical, hydraulic and lab principles

Job Summary

  • The holder of this position is responsible for developing and implementing content for audio-visual communications which will enhance internal and external communications, initiatives to showcase plant activities, improve employee branding, and keep employees informed inclusive.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Support of the communication team with creative designs, PowerPoint presentations, illustrations, infographics as well as animation for internal and external stakeholders.
