This is to inform the general public about the Edo University 2nd Convocation Ceremony Schedule for the 2020/2021 Academic Session. The management of Edo University Iyamho (EUI) has fixed the date, venue, and time for its 2nd convocation ceremony and award of academic and honorary degrees as well as the presentation of prizes.

On behalf of the Governing Council, Senate, Staff, and Students the Vice-Chancellor of the Edo State University, Iyamho, Engr. Prof. Emmanuel, O. Aluyor FNSE cordially invites the presence of the general public to their second convocation ceremony for the award of academic and honorary degrees.

2019/2020 Edo University Iyamho 2nd Convocation Ceremony Schedule

The convocation ceremony has been scheduled to take place on Saturday 7th November 2020. The time for the ceremony is 11:00 am. It should be noted that the ceremony will be held virtually and as such the platform is Webinar on Zoom.

On Friday 6th November 2020, the convocation lecture will be delivered by Prof. Adam Zahier of Worcester State University, Worcester, Massachusetts USA. It will be under the Chairmanship of Mallam Adamu Adamu, Honourable Minister for Education, Federal Republic of Nigeria. The title of the lecture is: “The Impact of COVID-19 on Tertiary Education: A View from the West and Possible Implications for African Universities”.
