About Earth Company Impact Hero 2024
The Impact Heroes are visionary leaders that are driven by bottomless passion and resolute determination to make transformative changes in the world.
They are not only role models for the next generations but also have the innate ability to inspire and touch people from all walks of life.
Program Details
Through their work, they aim to achieve paradigm shifts and carve out new, inclusive pathways that truly leave nobody behind and build regenerative futures, beyond sustainability and circularity.
7 Qualities of Impact Heroes:
- Authentic: Integrity and genuineness in the motivation of his/her life work
- Irreplaceable: One-of-a-kind qualities and unique role that cannot be substituted for
- Future-oriented: Aims to realize alternative futures characterized by inclusivity and regeneration
- Passionate: Blazing passion, energy, and conviction that fuels his/her work
- Inspirational: Extraordinary ability to inspire the world through his/her life work
- Leadership: Strong potential to lead his/her community or even country to a brighter future
- Grounded: A role model with deep trust and respect from the community
Eligibility
Below are the minimum requirements to apply for the Impact Hero program. Applicants who do not fulfil all the below eligibility criteria will not be considered.
- Countries of Operation
We accept applicants who are working on projects in developing countries around the Asia-Pacific region. Please check the complete list of eligible countries below:
Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brunei, Cambodia, China, Cook Islands, Fiji, French Polynesia, India, Indonesia, Kiribati, Laos, Malaysia, Maldives, Marshall Islands, Micronesia, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nauru, Nepal, New Caledonia, Niue, North Korea, Pakistan, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Timor-Leste, Tokelau, Tonga, Tuvalu, Vanuatu, Vietnam - Size of the organization (annual budget)
Earth Company is agnostic about number of years in operation, organizational maturity, sectoral focus, nationality, age, gender and academic credentials. For-profit companies and nonprofit organizations ? and everything in between ? are eligible. While most successful candidates run organizations with annual budgets in the range of $100k-$1m, we welcome applications from smaller and larger organizations. - Nature of organizations

Yes, we accept applications from former applicants, former candidates, and previous Impact Hero finalists.

2. Submit a video statement
Record yourself answering the following question: “Why do you think you are an Impact Hero?” within a maximum length of 1 minute.
- Tell us your story and convince us!
- This can be recorded on whatever device you have available to you, e.g. your mobile phone.
- Please upload it to Youtube, as unlisted, or Google Drive and share the link in the application form.
- Any video longer than 1 min will not be considered.

- The deadline for receipt of applications is 31 August 2023.
