For Direct Entry admission into the 200 Level of a degree program at Crawford University, candidates must have

Five (5) credits in English Language, Mathematics, and any other three (3) relevant subjects obtained at not more than two (2) sittings at the SSCE/WASCE, GCE /NECO or NABTECH.
B. Sc degree from a recognised university in a related field.

Is it Called IJMB or JUPEB in Crawford University?

Crawford University offers a JUPEB foundation program. After an approved examination administered by the JUPEB, the program allows highly successful candidates to be eligible for consideration for Direct Entry admission into the 200 Level of the Degree Programmes of the university through the JAMB (Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board).

Applicants must possess a minimum of five(5) O’Level subjects at credit level, in relevant subjects, and not more than two(2)sittings in the subjects pertinent to their proposed programmes. English Language and Mathematics at the credit level is compulsory for all candidates.
A minimum of a Third Class Honours or Pass degree or HND certificate from a recognised institution is required for the conversion programme.
Completion or exemption from the mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Scheme may be required (Call the Secretary of the School of Part-Time Studies for details).

Crawford University Diploma Programme Admission Criteria

Credit passes in at least four subjects, in CFAdinUSAnglish language, mathematics, a relevant subject to that course, and any other subject in the SSCE or GCE. NECO or equivalent.
A professional Certificate in Technology, PGDsiness Administration, Banking, and Accounting. Law, Marketing Finance, InsuranMBAand, and related professional certificates.
Mature candidates under 35 with qualifications below the minimum requirements of four (4) credits, including English language and Mathematics. Or a pass in either of these but not less than ten years of cognate working experience may be considered.

Master’s Degree Programme

Candidates with a minimum of second-class lower degree and a CGPA of 3.00 on a five-point scale Crawford University or a recognised University.
Candidates with a postgraduate diploma degree from a cognate discipline awarded by a recognised institution with not less than an upper credit.

Master of Business Administration

The course is designed to give a broad perspective on management to persons with a university degree or equivalent professional qualification in any discipline, including business administration and related fields, who wish to pursue a career in entrepreneurship/ management.

For admission, in exceptional cases, the following professional qualifications are acceptable as equivalent qualifications: ACA., ACCA., CMA. and CFA. (USA). HND with substantial experience may also be considered.

However, holders of HND and the above-listed professional qualifications are required to complete a one-year PGD programme in Business Administration as a prerequisite for admission into the MBA programme.

Note: Candidates with professional Master’s degrees are not eligible for the PhD programme except if they obtained M.Sc. degrees in the relevant fields.

Doctoral Degree (PhD) Programme

Candidates seeking admission to the Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree Programme of Crawford University must possess;

Firstly, the Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees of Crawford University or any other University recognised by the Senate of Crawford University in the relevant discipline.
Secondly, to qualify for direct entry into the PhD degree programme, a candidate must have a minimum CGPA of 4.00 on a 5.00 scale or equivalent (60%) in the Master’s (MA/M.Sc./M.Eng./M.Tech.) programme.
Lastly, candidates with CGPAof 3.50–3.99 on a 5.00 point scale or equivalent (55–59%)
