Following the ease of the Federal Government’s restrictions on movement and academic activities, the management of the above-named institution announced its resumption date and in consequence also has released its academic calendar.

First Semester Academic Calendar

The academic calendar for the first semester as reviewed by the management of the institution is:

• November 8^th, 2020 – First semester for the 2019/2020 academic session continues
• November 9^th, 2020 – November 20^th, 2020 – Completion of first semester lectures.
• November 25^th, 2020 – Matriculation ceremony.
• November 23^rd, 2020 – November 27^th, 2020 – Preparation for the examination
• November 30^th – December 12^th, 2020 – First-semester examination
• December 14^th, 2020 – December 24th, 2020 – Marking and processing of examination results at Departments/ consideration of result by school level and school board.
• January 7^th, 2021 – Consideration and approval of first-semester examination results by the academic board meeting.
• December 14^th, 2020 – December 31^st, 2020 – First-semester break.

Second Semester Academic Calendar

The second semester as released by the management of the institution is:

• January 3rd, 2021 – All students will resume school.
• January 4th, 2021 – January 15th, 2021 – All students will commence registration.
• January 11th, 2021 – April 2nd, 2021 – Lectures for the second semester.
• March 11th, 2021 – March 13th, 2021 – Students week.
• March 19th, 2021 – March 23rd, 2021 – Preparation for student’s union election and the election.
• April 5th, 2021 – April 9th, 2021 – Revision week for second-semester examination.
• April 12th, 2021 – April 24th, 2021 – Second-semester examination.
• April 26th, 2021 – May 21st, 2021 – Second-semester break.
• April 26th, 2021 – May 8th, 2021 – Departments will mark and process results/consideration of results by the school level and school board.
• May 5th, 2021 – Meeting of the Academic Board of the institution.
• May 11th to May 25th, 2021 – Summer registration/tutorial lectures/examination and marking.
