All admissions into the University shall be through the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).

For admissions via UTME, candidates must obtain five (5) credits at SSCE (or equivalent) in relevant subjects at not more than 2 sittings, including credit passes in English and Mathematics, and attain acceptable points in UTME in relevant subjects.

Is it Called Remedial or Pre-Degree in UAES?

At the Claretian University, it is called a pre-degree program. The pre-degree program is a one-year program that prepares students to sit for JAMB and qualifying examination conducted annually. A successful candidate in both studies is automatically qualified for admission into the 100 level of UAES.

Credit passes in English Language and Mathematics shall be compulsory for admission into all courses.
