About the BASUG Post UTME & Direct Entry Screening Form for 2020/2021 Academic Session

The Bauchi State University, Gadau (BASUG) is now inviting applications from all suitably qualified candidates for admission into the various degree programmes for the 2020/2021 academic session.

BASUG Post UTME Screening Eligibility

  • Students are expected to score at least 160 points in the 2020 UTME examination;
  • Obtained at least a minimum of five (5) relevant credits at ‘O’ level (including English and mathematics).
  • Candidates that sat for the relevant UTME subject combination in the 2020 JAMB examination;
  • All the Direct Entry (DE) candidates are to be added to the minimum of five (5) ‘O’ level relevant credits (including English and Mathematics) must have scored a minimum of 7 points in IJMB or NCE and at least lower credit in ND.

Candidates that are waiting for their O’Level result are expected to indicate clearly AWAITING RESULT (AR) in the grades column on the screening form. Candidates are expected to make available such results once the examination bodies release them.

How to Obtain BASU Post UTME Form

  1. First, go to the University Portal at basug.edu.ng
  2. After that, create an account
  3. After that, make the Post-UTME screening fee making the payment via the ATM card or by generating RRR, and then make the payment in the bank (N2,000) for BASUG and N300 as transaction/portal charge for FlexiSAF. Details of the Bank account will be provided on the portal.
  4. Fill in the online form by making provision for the following information.
  • Personal details including JAMB score and Registration number
  • Educational Qualifications
  • Contact information
  • The chosen course of Study
  1. Students are expected to provision the form online. Applicants do not have to visit the campuses physically.
