About Allard Photography Competition 2024
The Allard Prize Committee assumes the role of adjudicator for the Allard Photography Competition, an esteemed contest that celebrates
photographic excellence aligned with the core values of the Allard Prize.
Photographers are encouraged to submit their entries throughout the year. The submissions should encompass themes that resonate with courage
and leadership in the battle against corruption, with a primary focus on advancing transparency, accountability, the rule of law, and human rights,
while also addressing corruption and human rights violations in developed nations.
Program Details
Each distinguished winning photograph will be honoured with a prize of CAD $1,000 and will be prominently showcased on the Allard Prize website.
Accompanied by a concise description and the photographer’s name, the photograph will grace the website for a duration of six months.
Subsequently, these triumphant entries will be archived among past winners on the website. A comprehensive understanding of the terms and
conditions governing the competition can be accessed through the provided link.
Prizes
(a) Up to six photographs may be selected as a winner in each cycle of the Competition.
Each winning Entrant will receive (i) CA$1,000, (ii) his/her winning photograph featured
on the website, (iii) inclusion of his/her name and a brief description of the photograph on
the Allard Prize website, and (iv) the inclusion of the photograph in the website’s archive as a past winner.
(b) The Allard Prize will contact the winning Entrant(s) with instructions on how to
claim the prize.
(c) Prizes must be accepted as awarded and cannot be transferred, assigned, or
substituted. The Allard Prize reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to modify a portion of
the prize if it cannot be awarded for any reason.
(d) The Allard Prize shall not assume any liability for lost or misdirected prizes

Eligibility
The Competition is only open to individuals who have reached the
age of majority in their country of residence at the time of entry (“Entrants”). Members of
the Allard Prize Photography Competition Jury, the Allard Prize Committee and the Allard
Prize Advisory Board are not eligible to participate during their terms as Jury, Committee
or Advisory Board members and for one year following the end of their terms.
