The schedule for the 10th convocation ceremony for the conferment of First Degrees and Award of Prizes of Al-Hikmah University, Ilorin, Kwara State has been announced. The date for the convocation is Saturday 5th December 2020.

 Al-Hikmah University VC’s Message to Graduands
The Vice Chancellor, Salaam Alaekum Waramatulahi Wabarakatuhu sincerely congratulates all graduating students who are on Saturday 5th December 2020 convocating. The convocation is a virtual one as approved by the university’s governing council.
The virtual convocation was decided based on the strict instruction from the NUC, Federal Ministry of Education and Kwara State Ministry of Tertiary Education Science and Technology. A separate Inspection team was earlier sent by these supervising agencies to the university to access the level of preparedness for reopening in line With COVID 19 protocols.
The university was approved to reopen based on the condition that students would resume in phases  and strict compliance with the COVID 19 safety guidelines must be adhered to by the management of the university.
All university programmes have been conducted virtually since then such as the capacity building seminars for academic staff, conferences and institutional collaborative engagements. It is therefore important that a virtual convocation be conducted by the university in compliance with the instructions from the regulatory bodies.
An assurance has been given to all graduands that they will have the benefit of viewing the event live while the management will have all essential convocation items couriered to their preferred locations for collection. The necessary items are:
- Convocation Gown (to be returned)
- Convocation Programme & Graduating Photo Album
- Certificate scroll
The name of each graduand will be cited at the Convocation venue with the graduation photo shot. The university management wishes to ensure a hitch free virtual convocation ceremony and as such all graduands are implored to cooperate fully and make the university management proud as deemed worthy in learning and character.
