This is to inform the general public and all interested about AD-COHST Resumption Date for Commencement of Second Semester 2019/2020 Academic Session. The date for the commencement of academic activities for the second semester of 2019/2020 at Aminu Dabo College of Health Sciences and Technology, Kano (AD-COHST) has been announced by the management of the institution.

AD-COHST Resumption Date

The college will proceed on a week short break following the successful end of the first semester academic activities, 2019/2020 academic session. The short break will begin on Monday 30th November 2020 and end on Monday 7th December 2020.

The resumption from the one week break marks the beginning of the second semester of the 2019/2020 academic session. However, the management of AD-COHST maintained that non-academic staff will continue with their work in the college uninterrupted during the one-week closure. As such, all staff is required to comply accordingly with the above.

The College authority has given a directive to all students to capture their personal data information, course registration among others before returning to the College, making use of the online portal. They are required to provide functional email addresses while doing so.

The College Examination Office Mal Adam Uba Muhammad signed a circular which was addressed to the staff and students of the institution. The circular explained that to capture the biodata of each student’s information will facilitate better and smooth access to updated records.

It was stated that as a departure from the old filling out forms manner, to make the exercise easy to register, the office of the College Examination in collaboration with the ICT personnel has developed an online platform on the College portal.

Optimism was further expressed by the Chief Examiner Adam Uba that the portal will maintain a central treasury and help in both sending as well as receiving examination results and other important academic information of the students whenever it is required and requested for an online seamlessly. The need for students to unfailingly report for the exercise on the scheduled dates and time was further stressed by him.
