About the ABSU Remedial Programme Admission Form for 2020/2021 Academic Session

Abia state university is now inviting application from all suitably qualified candidates who are looking forward to admission into the one-year remedial programme taking place in the 2020/2021 academic session. Candidates that acquired good grades at the end of the programme and have made ABSU their choice of university in JAMB would be offered concession during the admission exercise of 2020/2021.

This programme was designed for candidates with deficiencies in their O’ level qualifications and who are looking forward to remedying the same by re-sitting the appropriate O’Level examinations conducted by any of WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB.

The available subjects include mathematics, English Language, Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Government, literature-in English, Igbo, Economics, Christian Religious Knowledge, Geography, Agricultural Science, History, French, Commerce, and principles of Account.

ABSU Remedial programme Admission Requirements

Candidates for the remedial studies are expected to have sat for SSCE/WAEC/GCE/NECO/NABTEB and evidence of the subjects failed for which remedy is sought must be made available. Plus, candidates who want to be a part of the remedial programmes are expected to prepare for Jamb examination (UTME).

How to Apply

  • Go to any of the banks stated below.

On the e-transact network and request to pay for the Abia State University pre-degree/remedial studies application forms. Students are expected to pay twenty thousand naira (N20,000.00) only, service charges inclusive.

  • Collect the e-transact receipt from the bank on payment and then proceed to any of the internet Centre for registration.
  • After that, log on to the ABSU Portal: abiastateuniversity.edu.ng and then, complete the filling of the application form.
