The management of the Abia State University (ABSU) has released its 1st, 2nd, 3rd & 4th Batch Admission List for the 2020/2021 Academic Session. How to Check the ABSU 2020/2021 1st, 2nd, 3rd & 4th Admission List

Abia State University (ABSU) prospective students can check their admission status from the names pasted on the NOTICE BOARD within the school premises.

  1. Go to ABSU admission status checking portal at https://portal.abiastateuniversity.edu.ng/Applicant/Admission/CheckStatus.
  2. Supply your JAMB Registration Number  / Application Number in the required column.
  3. Finally, click on login to access your ABSU admission status.

Prospective candidates can check their Abia State University (ABSU) admission status via JAMB CAPS with the steps below.

  1. Open the JAMB E-Facility website with this URL: jamb.gov.ng/efacility/.
  2. Login to your JAMB profile by inputting your username and password.
  3. Scroll down then locate and click the ‘Check Admission Status‘ tab.
  4. Select your Exam year and Enter your registration number in the required columns.
  5. Finally, click on ‘Check Admission Status‘ to view your ABSU admission status.

Candidates who have been offered admission are to proceed to click “ACCEPT” or “REJECT” to indicate acceptance or rejection of the admission offer.

Note: Clicking ”REJECT” is an indication that the offer of admission has been rejected by candidates.

Candidates successfully admitted into the Abia State University (ABSU) first-degree programmes are equally advised to:

  • Login to their JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) and ACCEPT or REJECT their admission.
  • Print their JAMB admission letter after accepting the admission.
  • Print their original JAMB result slip (this comes with passport photography affixed to it).
  • Apply for a change of course on the JAMB Portal in case they are offered courses different from the ones they initially applied for.
