About the AAU Ekpoma Regular Diploma Admission Form for 2020/2021 Academic Session
The Ambrose Alli University (AAU) Ekpoma is now inviting applications from all suitably qualified candidates for admission the regular diploma programmes in the Institute of Education for the 2020/2021 academic session.
The diploma programmes at the Institute of Education are full time and would hold for a period of two academic sessions.

Admission Requirements
General Remarks: candidates in possession of Credit Passes in subjects that are relevant in WASSCE/NECO/GCE (O/L) at a maximum of two sittings.
Diploma in Library Science
- are expected to possess passes in at least four subjects, not below credit level at a maximum of two sittings in WASSCE/NECO/GCE (O/L) of which the English Language is included, or
- are expected to possess passes in four subjects, not below merit level in teachers Grade II Certificate of which the English Language is included at a maximum of two sittings.
Diploma in Physical and Health Education
Candidates that are in possession of any of the following qualifications are eligible for the consideration for admission.
- Teachers Grade II Certificate with at least 4 passes, not below the Merit level of which Physical Education and minimum of a pass in the English Language.
- WASSCE/NECO/GCE (O/L) with at least four credits and a minimum of a pass in the English Language.
- Associate Certificate in Education (ACE).
- Candidates that are in possession of credits/Merits in TC II or WASSCE/NECO/GCE (O/L) including coaching certificate may be considered.
Diploma in Mathematics Education
- Possess four Ordinary credit level in Mathematics and three others with a minimum of at least a pass in the English Language.
- Teachers Grade II certificate with a minimum of Merit in Mathematics, and three other subjects and at least a pass in English, Mathematics and Economics or Commerce.
Diploma in Accounting Education
- Four Ordinary Level credits of which English Language, Mathematics and Economics or Commerce is included.
- Four Merits in Teachers Grade II Certificate of which English Language, Mathematics and Economics or Commerce is included.
Diploma in Banking Education
- Four Ordinary Level credits of which English Language, Mathematics and Economics or Commerce is included.
- Four Merits in Teachers Grade II Certificate of which English Language, Mathematics and Economics or Commerce is included.
Diploma in Secretarial Education
- Four Ordinary Level credits, of which the English Language is included.
- Four Merits in Teachers Grade II Certificate, of which English Language is included.
Diploma in Computer Science Education
- WASC/NECO/GCE ‘O’ level or SSCE with credits in Mathematics, Physics, with a minimum of a pass in English Language and any other subject from Further Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology/Agric, Geography, Statistics, Economics and Government at a maximum of two sittings.
- Grade II Teachers Certificate with a minimum of a Merit in Mathematics, Physics, at least a pass in English Language and any other subject from Further Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology/Agric., Geography, Statistics, Economics and Government at a maximum of two sittings.
Diploma in Community Health Education
- Teachers with Grade II Teachers Certificate with credits/merits in three subjects of which Health Education and a pass in English Language is included.
- Are to be Holders of WASC/SSCE/NECO/GCE (O/L) with three credits and at least a pass in English Language.
- Holders of Associate Certificate in Education.
- Auxiliary Nurses and other health workers who are in possession of the entry requirements

The Application form for the Regular Diploma Programmes of the universities education would be made available online for the submission and completion latest 28th February 2021.

Procedure for On-Line Application/Closing Date
- First, go to aaue.waeup.org, click “application” and then choose the application type you like to fill.
- Click on ‘Register for the application’ located at the top left section of the page in other to proceed.
- Provide all the necessary information. Note that means compulsory fields. Your ID and Password would be displayed on the browser (a copy of your Username and password would also be sent to the provided email address).
- Click on ‘login’ (top right of the front page) and then enter your username and password in other to log in.
- To commence the process for the application, please click on ‘Edit application record1 and the password in other to log in.
