This is to inform the general public about the Umaru Musa Yar’adua University (UMYU) Post-UTME Form for the 2024/2025 Academic Session. Official details about the form are given below.

UMYU Post-UTME Form for the 2024/2025 Session

Umaru Musa Yar’adua University (UMYU) wishes to invite candidates who applied for admission into the university and have the institution as their first choice through the year 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) or Direct Entry (DE) application to register for aptitude test/screening via the University website www.umyu.edu.ng.

Candidates who applied through the UTME must have scored the minimum cut-off mark for the programme they applied for. Details on the approved cut-off mark and the admission requirements for each programme can be found on the link https://umyu.edu.ng/approved-cut-off-marks-for-admission-2024-2025-session-utme-jamb-2024/

Please note that only the shortlisted candidates who have satisfied the admission requirements on the mentioned website are to register. In addition, DE candidates are not to appear physically for the aptitude test/screening but will be screened online through their application.

The online registration will commence on Wednesday, August 21st, 2024, and will close at midnight on September 13th, 2024.

Eligible candidates are to upload the following documents to the University’s Post UTME PORTAL on Wednesday, 21st August 2024.

JAMB Result Slip of the year 2024 for UTME candidates or JAMB Registration Slip of the year 2024 in the case of DE candidates;

O’ Level Result(s);

Form of identification (Indigene Letter/National Identification Card/International Passport etc);

Direct Entry (DE) Candidates are also to upload their ‘A’ Level Results (Diploma, IJMB, NCE, etc.).

Please note that candidates who are awaiting results can also apply.

MODE OF PAYMENT

Eligible candidates must pay N2,000.00 (all charges inclusive) for the aptitude test/screening through the payment options provided on the University’s website.

UTME Candidates are to come along with the payment slip for the aptitude test and will be required to submit hard copies of their credentials at the test venue. Upon registration, the aptitude test date will be indicated on the registration slip, and candidates are advised to check the website for information/updates on the test/screening.

Direct entry candidates are also requested to forward hard copies of their credentials to the Registrar’s office after they register online.

Please note that those who were recognized by the JAMB as physically challenged candidates are exempted from the post-UTME aptitude test, but they are requested to forward hard copies of their credentials to the Registrar’s Office.
