Here we will be sharing all the requirements and criteria to be eligible to apply for the Maritime Academy of Nigeria Post UTME Form for the 2020/2021 Academic Session. Below are the requirements and eligibility criteria for the Maritime Academy of Nigeria Post UTME Form for the 2020/2021 Academic Session.
General requirements
- All applicants must have an active email and a valid phone number.
- Applicants for Nautical Science, Marine Engineering, and Electrical/Electronic Engineering must have a score of at least 175 in the 2020/2021 JAMB UTME.
- Applicants for Maritime Transport and Business Studies must score at least 160 in the 2020/2021 JAMB UTME.
- All applicants must have at least 5 credit passes in their Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) obtained from not more than 2 sittings and not older than 5 years.
- All applicants must have the correct JAMB combination for their desired course.

Physical & Medical Fitness
- All applicants are expected to be medically and physically fit and must be able to withstand every nature of the cadet’s training.
- All applicants must undergo all the required medical tests and upload their results. The list of the required medical tests can be seen on the application portal dashboard.
- All applicants are to print out the medical application form, complete this form and sign it, only then can it be uploaded back on the portal.
Marital Status
- All applicants must be single and are required to remain single throughout their stay at the academy.
Age Limit
- Applicants for Nautical Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering and Marine Engineering must be between 16 years to 21 years old as at November 2020.
- Applicants for Maritime Transport and Business Studies must be between 16 years to 25 years old as at November 2020.
How to Apply
All applicants are required to pay a screening fee of N2,000.00 Naira only during the application process. Follow the instructions below to apply for the Maritime Academy of Nigeria Post UTME Form for the 2020/2021 Academic Session.
- Log on to https://www.maritimeacademy.gov.ng/
- Click on Admission – HND/ND Registration Portal
- Login with your JAMB Reg. No. and your score as username and password respectively.
- Generate the payment slip and print it out.
- Head to any commercial bank listed on the application portal to make payment or pay online.
- Return to the portal to complete your application and submit it.
Applicants are advised to complete and submit their application before the deadline as an incomplete application equals automatic disqualification.
